Creating art makes me happy and that is my motivation. I studied art at Northampton Art College and then Fashion & Textiles at Nottingham Trent University. I later honed my skills as an artist at Heatherley's School of Art in Chelsea, Ruskin School of Art in Oxford and the Florence Academy.  In 2010 I established an art school and enjoyed teaching fine art to students of all levels for over a decade. My recent work has been exploring the landscape around my home in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. Painting  enpleinair, I like to emerse myself into my surroundings, often using the things around me to add expression into the work. My work has an impressionist feel with a strong focus on light and shadows. Working with the finest pigments and mediums, my expressive paintings aim to bring the beauty of our wonderful British countryside to life.
