Biography
Born on September 20, 1960, in the city of Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region. Husband of V. Kozyar. Graduated from the art and graphic department of the Odessa Pedagogical Institute (1984). Teachers in the specialty: V. Zakharchenko. Painter. The artist’s work is characterized by expression, impressionism, soft pastel colors; the stroke applied with a palette knife picks up thicker paint around the edges. He created mainly landscapes based on bold color schemes, in impressionistic and post-impressionistic manners. Worked as a teacher of drawing and painting, Korosten children's art school (Zhitomir region; 1984); at the Chernivtsi Art Factory (1986); was engaged in creative work in Vinnitsa (1990). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, international (since 1984). Personal exhibitions - in Kyiv (1994, 2003, 2006), St. Petersburg (2009), Vinnitsa (2012). Main works: “Breath of the Morning”, “Rain on Ivan Kupala” (2005), “First Rays”, “Quiet Evening”, “West”, “Morning Fog” (2007), “Crimean Landscape”, “Cool Morning”, “Dawn”, “Morning Symphony” (2008), “Evening” (2010), “Autumn Morning” (2011), “Morning” (2012). Lived and worked in the city of Vinnitsa.
