Biography
About the Artist
Vlad Yurashko’s work is a powerful manifesto against academic restraint. Working at the intersection of Fauvism and Symbolism, he does not merely imitate the classics but deconstructs their methods, adapting them to the visual language of the 21st century.
Technique &
Vision
The defining feature of Yurashko’s watercolors is a complete rejection of
"dirty" pigments - blacks and earthy tones are replaced by fluorescent paints.
This innovative approach allows him to achieve a level of luminosity and
brilliance nearly impossible in traditional watercolor.
His latest сycle, "Honey Watercolor," explores the ultimate purity of color. Each piece functions as an autonomous source of visual energy, designed not to imitate reality but to create a new intensity of perception.
In the Artist’s
Words:
“An encounter with an environment that resembles a forest always leaves us
with memories hidden within the layers of watercolor. By capturing the rhythmic
'gaze' of the sun upon nature, I create sanctuaries for the remnants of stories
that have merged into an ideal reality. My landscapes often become hiding
places for human figures - they are not always easy to spot at first glance,
but their stories are the ones worth telling.”
For the collector, these works offer a "new breath" of classical movements, built on the emotional vibration of uncompromising brightness.
