About Victoria Sirooka

  • Biography
I was born and raised in Ukraine, lived several years in South Africa. Now I am based in France. Graduated from an art school in Ukraine, I have been painting since my childhood. I have been painting all my life while working in another field. I am a full-time artist since the pandemic. I focus on the fragility of this world. I seek delicacy and sensitivity in minimalist forms. I find inspiration in nature and in people. I explore, through my works, the delicate features of the human body, the diversity of plants, shapes and shades of color. To capture rich depth in my paintings and illustrations, I use layering techniques, applying one layer over another, until the final effect I want is achieved. I want to sell on Artfinder as it is an it is one of the way to show my work to a global community.
