About Ulyana Korol

Biography

Painting is my way of capturing the fleeting beauty of nature and preserving the emotions it evokes. Every brushstroke and palette knife movement on my canvas is a reflection of my deep admiration for the natural world, its colors, its rhythms, its quiet yet powerful presence. My goal is to create paintings that radiate warmth, happiness, and a sense of serenity, inviting viewers to pause and immerse themselves in a moment of pure beauty.

Artistic Vision & Inspiration

Nature has always been my greatest muse. Traveling fuels my creativity, and I often find myself searching for those perfect, almost ethereal moments that speak to me. Photography, especially macro photography, plays a vital role in my creative process. It allows me to study the intricate details of a flower petal, the way light dances on water, or the delicate transition of colors at sunrise. These observations shape my paintings - particularly my large-scale floral compositions, where oversized peonies bloom with breathtaking detail, and my water series, where reflections and movement come to life through layers of rich texture and luminous color.

For me, painting is not just about recreating natureʼs beauty - it’s about conveying emotion. I want my art to spark joy, to evoke memories, to transport people to a place where they can feel connected to the world in a deeper, more meaningful way.

Technique & Artistic Journey

My journey as an artist began in childhood. I spent countless hours in painting studios, experimenting with different techniques and honing my skills, eventually graduating with honors from an art school. At just nine years old, I held my first solo exhibition, a defining moment that set me on this lifelong creative path.

Oil on canvas is my chosen medium, and my signature technique involves using a palette knife to create rich textures and depth. I love the contrast between bold, impasto strokes and the soft, fluid motion of flowers and water. This dynamic interplay gives my work a contemporary feel while maintaining a deep emotional resonance.

After taking a break to raise my three children, I returned to painting in 2014 with a renewed passion. Since then, I have actively exhibited my work in solo and international group exhibitions, gaining recognition from collectors and art enthusiasts worldwide.

Collectors & Exhibitions

My paintings have found homes in private collections across Europe and beyond, appreciated by collectors, interior designers, and those who, like me, find inspiration in the natural world. Each piece I create is a celebration of nature’s elegance, a reminder of its endless beauty and the emotions it stirs within us.

Through my art, I hope to share a sense of wonder, tranquility, and joy, offering viewers not just a painting, but an experience that lingers in their hearts.
