Biography
Welcome to my Artfinder Collection!
Thematically my landscape work is concerned with seasonality, led by an intention to document the beauty of a place as a record of its memory.
The work of nineteenth-century Russian landscapists is a current obsession of mine and informs my style. I have adopted an increasingly liberal approach to the application of paint - with considered abstraction of stroke - in an attempt to achieve a sense of realism and authenticity to the scene before me.
My work is present in private collections worldwide and was recently featured in the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition 2020 at the Mall Galleries, London.
