Working from my studio in Kyiv, I am deeply fascinated by the atmospheric effects of light and the fluid spaces where urban energy meets the stillness of the forest. My practice is driven by a desire to explore the relationship between static, man-made structures and the unpredictable, fleeting states of the natural world.
Landscape painting allows me to chase and capture these transient moments before they vanish. Working primarily with rich oil paints on fine linen canvases, I focus on capturing the subtle nuances of nature: the first gentle shifts of morning light, the last fiery reflections of a setting sun, or a thick veil of pinkish-white fog melting into the air.
Through the depth of oils and the organic texture of linen, I translate these short-lived states into a visual language of light and shadow. My art invites viewers to pause, look closer, and experience the quiet harmony found in these ephemeral moments of beauty.
