About Shushanik Danilyants
Biography
Shushanik (later Shana) was born in 1967 in Fergana, Uzbekistan, then part of the Soviet Union. She studied art at the Benkoff Art College in Tashkent, graduating in 1984 as a scenic artist. Continuing her education, she attended the Ostrovsky State University of Fine Arts in Tashkent, where she graduated as a television and cinema artist. In 1999, Shana and her family moved to Canada, where they still reside. Today, alongside her own painting, she runs Palette Art School, a Concord-based art school, where she shares her artistic knowledge with both youth and adults.
