  • Biography
    My background is Graphic Design with a long career in publishing as an Art Editor and Designer based in London. After moving to the Norfolk/Suffolk borders 12 years ago and converting an old outbuilding into a studio I finally had the space but more importantly the time to develop my drawing and painting more. It had to be the human form with its many fascinating shapes and sizes and I have slowly developed a style. l found that pastels worked best enabling me to keep a light touch but energetic feel while retaining simplicity and movement without becoming overworked. I attend regular life drawing classes and also source and work from mostly vintage photographic references. More recently I have been painting multi-layered landscapes on textured gesso backgrounds and also abstracts.
    My work has been shown in several galleries and numerous art exhibitions.
    I have sold over 100 artworks in the UK and also Internationally.
