Ryoko Minamitani is spiritual contemporary artist, born in Ise City, Mie, Japan, and now based in Wales, UK.

She studied mixed media painting under Tatsuhiko Yokoo, a Zen master and professional painter based in Germany and Japan, and holds an MA in Art & Design from the Leeds Beckett University in Leeds UK. Since then, she has been devoted to developing her distinctive artistic voice through solo and group exhibitions, primarily in the UK, with selected works featured in curated shows and private collections.

Her work centers on mixed-media abstract painting, exploring the profound connection between art and spirituality. She incorporates into her works the realms of unconscious that lie beyond emotion and memory, engaging with the inner spirit to create visual spaces where each viewer can experience intuitive, multidimensional interpretation and reflection.
