What inspires you?
Beauty of Nature is my Everyday inspiration. Plein Air ala prima sketches and photos are used as my references for larger works. But sometimes Images come to me and stand over my bed headboard and they do not leave until I put them on canvas.
How and why do you create art that you create?
I do not know myself exactly. It is a little bit of Mystery, a little bit of Sacrament, and a little bit of Ordinance.
What made you become an artist?
Self-delusion and brain chemical unbalance.
How did you choose your medium?
I like impasto, heavy layered paint. A combination of acrylic underpainting and oil paint (sometimes with cold wax medium) seems to provide a reasonably steady combination from a conservation point of view and allow a wide range of variation to resolve any artistic challenge.
Do you favor small or large artworks?
No preferences. it's depending on the theme and subject.
