About Yevgeniy Repiashenko

Biography

Yevgeniy Repiashenko is a renowned fine art photographer known for capturing the grace of dance movements and the timeless beauty of the human form. His works always reflect poetic beauty, naked grace and harmony. Being fascinated by art of the Renaissance, Yevgeniy creates one of his series of artworks - SPIRIT, which combines the textures of classical sculpture with modern rhythm and emotions, often acting as a choreographer of his ideas, embodied through synergy with the model. The graceful lines of proficient ballerinas and gymnasts freeze in a fit of dance leaving the strongest feelings and passion in the frame.

You can find Yevgeniy’s artworks from private art collections and photo books dedicated to photography genres nude and dance (NORMAL Magazine, DANCE VISION by Abrams, ...) to city murals, the authors of which are inspired by Yevgeniy’s works.

Yevgeniy was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1979. His passion for photography began during his university studies in an engineering field related to CAD, although this education did not directly influence his creative path. His fascination in photographing people was largely shaped by his interest in artistic sports and music. In his childhood, Yevgeniy practiced figure skating and later took up fencing, sports that develop not only physical fitness but also aesthetic perception, emotional expression, and the creation of visually attractive, harmonious movements. His love for music has always been present.
