Biography
Hi, my name is Paola Alì, i'am an italian painter. My grandfather was a painter, so i was sorrounded by art since i was a children. Later I attended an art school, but the disappointment for the poor arts education received has kept me away from art for at least 14 years. One day I bought a painting set and without having ever taken painting lessons i painted the fighting temerarire of William Turner and so i discovered that i was able to paint ...since then I started painting and studying on my own... I have been involved in several group exhibitions and i also won 3 painting prizes...
I mostly paint with oils, but i also like other medium. I like to paint still life, portraits,figures landscapes, and pet portraits. I try to catch in my paintings the beauty of life...and the colors are what brings images to life.. the latest discover about my self is that i'm also able to teach painting to others..so i have many classes running also online....you can see some free lessons on my channel.
I sold many of my paintings in Italy, France,United Kingdom,Spain,Norway,Australia.
