Welcome to my art page. My name si Olga Goryunova and I am a contemporary realist painter working primarily in oil and pastel. As a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, my practice is deeply rooted in classical academic traditions, yet driven by a desire to capture the fleeting breath of nature. I never aim for dry, photographic precision; instead, I seek the emotional heartbeat of a landscape.

My process is inseparable from plein air painting. Traveling extensively to work directly from nature—from the rugged coasts of Karelia to the vibrant provinces of China—I translate the universal beauty of light onto the canvas.
