My name is Masha (Maria) Neverova. I grew up in a family of artists, and I myself received an art education, both classical and contemporary. I have been painting all my life, and I constantly improve my skills in various courses and master classes, study the history of art, and every week I try to go to exhibition openings in contemporary art galleries in New York City. The theme of my work is plants. After moving to the US, I began to think more often about my identity. These thoughts led me to the fact that the only thing I remained sure of was the plants that I associate with home -- my grandmother’s garden, the wild forests, this literally the places where my roots remain. Now I am drawing the plant elements that I find around my new home.
