l have enjoyed drawing & painting since a young age,  my interest is to create artwork to  detail to add a realistic effect to my art , i try and add that natural effect and light into my work to try and portray an  image from a special interest or memorable occasion in the work,   i often stick to auto related subjects with motorsport high on the list although i have dabbled with other subjects local scenes and animals etc,  i started painting about thirty years ago while i was at school and gaining a GCSE in art ,although mostly self taught   and  being a hobby although a goal would be professional ,  i am inspired by some of the great motorsport artists such as Alfredo de la maria and uk artist micheal turner , i usually spend a length of time on each works from preparation maybe an idea from a photo can be a basis to sketch to get it going and testing the colour shades   and then complete only when i am happy with the result .     , i  hope to exibit in the near future , thankyou for  viewing my art and i hope you enjoy
