About Mariia Jones

Hello! My name is Mariia. I am a hard-working artist based in New York City. I cannot imagine myself without a brush in my hand, painting is my passion! My paintings are completely original and each piece is unique. For a long time, I was experimenting with materials and, as a result, I created my unique technique, which I prefer to use in my artworks. I have been selling my paintings successfully inside and outside the US; I have experience in international shipping as well. Now I make paintings using mixed media on canvas, although I paint on paper as well. I work with acrylic, watercolor, and graphic materials. I like to make compositions which make the viewer think and feel; paintings which hold secrets and riddles inside them; paintings which you can read like a book. In my art I try to reflect topics such as; searching for meaning, aspiring for calmness and clarity; harmony with nature; the relationship between human and nature; the microcosm inside everyone. I want my paintings to help look inside oneself, see the perfection and beauty of every waking moment. Originally, I received an architectural education which included art classes, but besides that I participated in many workshops in different countries and learn from other successful artists. By now I have participated in several exhibitions in the US and abroad, and my artworks were published in the international art magazines. I work a lot and regularly, and I set myself serious, professional goals.
