"One day, many years ago, I was walking near Victoria Station in London when I saw on the floor an old piece of wood. I had a magical idea! I bought some colours and a brush and rushed home. That night I started to paint and I have never stopped since.."

Self-taught artist Maria began to paint professionally in 2007. She was born in Florence, an amazing city but probably too small for her. In 2001 she moved to London. Through her very recognizable artworks Maria has created a unique parallel universe called "The Futuristic World ", a colourful, vibrant and funky place with hidden messages & symbols. What she aims is to stimulate people's imagination, make them feel happy and think deeper. New ideas flow through her all the time, so new art collections are continuously created. Her unique paintings are held in many private collections all around the World.
