My name is Maria Kireev and I am an artist who paints a wide range of styles and genres. Landscapes, portraits, still lifes, genre scenes, abstracts and much more, I like to work on many paintings at the same time.

Art as such is a pure reflection of the artist's character and inner world. I have always considered myself an experimenter and a hunter of new and interesting artistic techniques, expressions in different media and materials. Every day I learn and explore something new for myself to test, apply and develop. I try to find a balance between precise form and abstract elements in the textures, lines and layers of the knife palette with great attention to detail.

I believe that art should have meaning, evoke positive emotions and be beautiful in its own way. My art is a metaphor for my vision of life - positive, dynamic and simple, clarity and purity of intense colour are the main components of my work, prismatic and sometimes even architectural. I am passionate about using bold and bright colours to create a subject in great holistic harmony and feeling.

Life can only be as colourful and beautiful as we make it. This is my message, my philosophy and my inspiration, this is my palette and my soul, this is life as I understand it.
