CONTEMPORARY ARTIST I VIENNA, AUSTRIA
I am a contemporary artist based in Vienna, Austria I graduated from the University of Art and Design Linz (Kunstuniversität Linz) and have been living and working in Austria for more than twenty years,
Alongside my artistic practice, I founded and lead an independent art studio in Vienna, where for more than a decade I have guided hundreds of children and adults in discovering contemporary painting through experimentation, creative freedom and personal expression.
My artistic practice is rooted in the exploration of emotional states and the subtle transitions betweer them. Rather than depicting landscapes or recognizable objects, I investigate moments of calm, tension, vulnerability, balance and transformation. Each painting begins with an emotional condition rather than a visual idea,
Working primarily with acrylic on large-scale canvases I build layered compositions in which transparency, gesture and colour become a visual language for experiences that often exist beyond words. My work nvites viewers to slow down, enter their own inner landscape and discover personal meaning within each painting.
For me, abstraction is not the absence of reality-- it is another way of making it visible
