About Lorna Doyan
Biography
I gather inspiration from the simple, symmetrical and delicate beauty of butterflies to create three-dimensional artworks in paper and card. The shadows and reflections adjust in different light settings allowing my works to take on a sculptural quality that changes throughout day to night. I use genuine 24 carat gold leaf in every piece as my signature which adds a precious quality and glistens beautifully in the light.
Every artwork is framed in a solid box frame and is protected behind glass for my smaller works or museum grade plexiglass for my larger pieces.
