About Laura van de Wiel

In my work, I try to capture the connection to the bigger part of the universe. We all feel disconnected sometimes, and with my work, I make artwork available to open hearts and minds and experience the connection to a bigger power. I hope my work envokes a sense of belonging. In my abstract works, you will find the "overview effect" as well as a microscopic look. In the figurative works, I zoom in and try to capture emotions you only see when you get up close.
