About Laura Segatori

Biography

my art has as the main theme the woman rappresented in all her moods often surrounded by materials such as sand and resin that take on meanings that are sometimes positeve and sometimes negative. The resin as if it were water gives us life and brings back to the mother's womb, but at the same time we could drown in it so it ends up suffocating us.

I introduce myself, I was born and grew up in the Tiburtine reality, and I develop since I was a child artist-che attitudes. I paint, draw and observe reality. My job is self-adapted until I decide to enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome after attending the Scientific High School. I graduated in scenography with honors and worked very initially as a stage decorator in various theatrical and television productions. This activity gives me productive pictorial skills for my works of art. Development of sensitivity for the figure of the woman that I portray in all its facets, revealing its strength but also its great fragility, exploiting the help of sandy matter and resin. I call it the frozen lava, which fossilizes and freezes the present moment. Today television set designer, I keep my love for the project fused to the emotion, which I try to express in all fields. From experience, you can understand how difficult it is to find the right talented person, at the right time. That's why I'm at your disposal. You can find details about my skills, experiences and the services I offer, right here on my website. If you want to talk more in depth about your needs, I am always available for an informal chat.
