About Larisa Carli

I have been painting throughout all stages of my life - as a toddler with my mom, as a bullied child finding peace within the beautiful world of colours; a college student managing the stress through expressing myself; through breakups, loves, alongside jobs, and currently through my pregnancy 😊

I live in Ljubljana, the capital of a small and beautiful country Slovenia, situated in Central Europe. Being surrounded by both mountains and the Mediterranean, most of my paintings are inspired by countryside landscapes, villages, coastal towns and the sea. I have always felt a strong connection to the water and adored the coast - beaches, turquise waters, the beautiful architecture, flowers, smell of the sea, artists playing live music,..

Through my art I like to express what I'm seeing and feeling and I especially enjoy painting loosely with vibrant watercolours. I hope to bring feelings of inspiration, wonder and beauty into your home as well!
