About Kirsty Bonning
Biography
Painting is my life, I am driven by a huge compulsion to paint daily which keeps everything in my life in balance. I am passionate about painting landscape in all of its seasons, weather and lights! I am very fortunate to live in Mid Devon, absorbed in a rural farming life which is constantly inspiring! I am a studio and plein air artist, painting in oil and watercolour. I work instinctively responding quickly to the ever changing challenges of painting the landscape from life then return to the studio to create larger canvases. I also relish the opportunity to work to commission.
