I studied Fine Art in Exeter and continue to study by undertaking regular courses at Newlyn School of Art, which is just up the road from me!  I particularly enjoy still life painting and seascapes, although currently my interests lie in more figurative work.   My painting is underpinned by readings on phenomenology.  My favourite medium is oil paint, although I enjoy experimenting with acrylic, ink, charcoal and sand and grit! I try to paint or draw every day.
