Biography
My inspiration comes directly from the stunning landscape of the Scottish Highlands where I live. I am particularly drawn to coastal or mountain areas untouched by modern life. I love the tactile quality of oil paint & enjoy the spontaneity and luscious colour this medium affords. I aim to capture the fleeting effects of colour & light on the landscape using broad brush marks & palette knife rather than precise detail. I hope you enjoy looking & any questions are welcome !
