Creativity is an essential part of who I am, and the need to express it daily has always driven my life and work. Over the years, I’ve woven my way through a variety of creative fields, including graphic design, web design, illustration, silversmithing, and recently pottery. These disciplines allowed me to build a foundation in visual communication and problem-solving. I have worked in a corporate office most of my life. At age 55, my job was outsourced overseas and at 58, I returned to school to get my BFA in Fine Art. In today's digital world (and now AI), I think it is important - more than ever - to create physical work. Most of my abstract work is inspired by landscapes and light—both real and imagined. I feel so lucky to have taken the risk of returning to school to find myself and to fall in love with art.
