I have drawn all of my life and did a lot of illustration work in the 1990s, chiefly for children's non-fiction publishing. In recent years I have studied drawing and painting intensely and fallen in love with fine art. I paint and draw daily, study art books, and visit galleries as much as possible. I also do as much plein air painting and sketching as I can.

I teach drawing and painting at 2 local art centers and thoroughly enjoy helping others find their way through the world of visual expression.

I enjoy using oil paints, pencil, pen and ink, gouache, markers, pastels and whatever else I can get my hands on.
