About Jill Ann Harper
Biography
I'm a professional artist based in the south east of England. I like to paint in a representational style with clean, crisp lines and bold colour. I find most of my inspiration in flowers, architecture and cats but I also paint a range of different subjects. I paint in my studio at home where my cat keeps me company. I love to sit in the peace and quiet and paint, or listen to podcasts. My aim is to produce positive paintings for people to enjoy.
I work in oils and my paintings are produced on canvas. Paintings on canvas board are provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame, ready to hang. Paintings on stretched canvas / deep edge canvas are sold unframed but are fitted with picture wire, ready to hang unframed. Each painting receives a coat of professional art varnish to ensure it's protected from UV light, dust and other environmental factors.
