About Ivica Petraš
Biography
Ivica Petraš was born near Zagreb, Croatia. He attended high school in Vrbovec and graduated painting at Arthouse - College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in class of prof. Mladen Jernejec. Since 1997. he is continuously engaged in painting and had few independent and about 60 group exhibitions. He was member in about 100 artistic colonies of humanitarian character in Croatia and abroad. There are several topics of his paintings: continental, maritime and urbane landscapes and motives of flowers. The important element of painting of Ivica Petras is color, by which he creates his own worlds. Beside painting, he dealt with caricature and illustration. He was coworker in production of a cartoon movie, as well. He exhibits his paintings in galleries in Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Ljubljana, and sells them around the world.
