About Ivica Petraš
Biography
Ivica Petraš was born near Zagreb, Croatia. He attended high school in Vrbovec and graduated painting at Arthouse - College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
A painter with a background in caricature and illustration, he has been working with oil on canvas since 2000. His expressive, textured technique and vibrant color harmonies capture the essence of nature, mystical landscapes, and the ever-changing light of the sea.
Petraš has exhibited widely in Croatia and abroad, including solo and group shows in Zagreb, Split, New York, and across Europe. He collaborates with galleries in Dubrovnik, Korčula, Poreč, Rovinj, and is represented internationally by the French art house Carré d’artistes. Her paintings have been shown in galleries across France, including Angers, Marseille (L’Expo), Paris (Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Saint-Germain-en-Laye), and Strasbourg (Orfèvres).
He is a member of HDLU and HULULK associations and an active participant in humanitarian art colonies and artistic events. Petraš lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia.
