Biography
My art practice was born and developed through the representation of the human body.
Over the years I have focused more and more on the depiction of limbs, in particular: legs and arms.
Limbs, are both the protagonists of my recurring dreams and physical issues that were part of me during my early years and while growing up.
Over time, the limbs represented undergo a transformation , they are no longer just arms or just legs, they become hybrid forms, they become branches, they become rocks, they become earth, they become leaves.
At the same time, trees, branches, rocks, earth, no longer remain just that but call up bodies; there is no longer a clear boundary between one and the other but an ambiguous representation of these forms trying to reconnect with their origins.
