Biography
I
am a Danish artist living and working in the midst of nature and
nature is my subject matter.
I draw and paint within an abstract figurative universe, where narrative and abstraction intertwine.
My work is inspired by undefinable growth, flora and fauna, nature’s cycles with all its mysterious stories, the decline of species, opposites such as life and death and light and darkness, transformation and the connection of things; everything has an opposite, everything is linked.
Beyond nature, I find inspiration in dreams, alchemy, and music.
I work on both paper and canvas using colored pencils, acrylics, graphite, oil stick, and marker.
I invite you all into a dualistic world, where the reverse of the coin is lurking right beneath the surface and the poetical swiftly changes into something raw and untamed.
