  • My work is an invitation to be HIGH ON LIFE!

    The Artworks
What exactly does this mean? My hometown Berlin is my endless source of inspiration and my artworks speak its language - bold, confident, and unexpected. Furthermore, just as much as I am a bright-natured, curious, and energetic person, I want my art to transport exactly those sentiments. I find joy and wonder in the smallest and appearingly most mundane objects and situations, and in turn I convey these feelings through my artworks. Each piece brings its own energy and personality.

    The Process
Each time in the process, the artwork and I undergo a sort of dance, a discussion, until we both agree that it is ready. Each artwork thus has a story to tell - sometimes the story is loud and blunt, at other times it is more of a soft-spoken whisper, urging you to come closer to start noticing all the intricate details.

    The Style
My work is situated between abstract expressionism, an urban-inspired style and geometric art. My mediums of choice are acrylics and spraypaint on canvas. I value the immediacy of these paints - both successes and failures can be seen and reacted upon within a matter of minutes. Working in a "free flow" with vast amounts of paint, paddle brushes, wedges and so on fulfills my longing to let go in the process; while working with masking tape, stencils and spraypaint provides a sense of control.

    Why Art?
It has taken me a while, but creating art has become an integral part in my life. I paint canvases, started working on murals, I give workshops. And while I have evolved in my practice enormously in the past years, there are still endless paintings to be painted and endless projects to conquer.

Let my artworks convince you of their unique and special personalities and I am sure they will brighten up your home while giving you a chance to get lost in them for a little while at a time.
