Biography
I learned art from my parents who were painters and art teachers. I work as a graphic designer and creative in a company, I paint and draw a lot even outside working hours. I have also been a jazz musician for a long time and I believe that watercolour is for painting as jazz is for music. Improvisation, interpretation and execution are common aspects of the two forms of artistic expression. When I discovered my passion for watercolour I approached it as I had learned in music: as a jazzman. In painting I do not seek precision, fidelity in the reproduction of reality, but I try to reinterpret according to the mood of the moment. I love this media for its complexity, for its unpredictability and I try to capture these elements in the subjects around me.
