About Flávia Leitão

My focus has always been on drawing and creating. Although my academic background is in graphic design, visual arts have always been the core of my expression. My focus is the women in or time in society, questining the beauty, the aging, the role. I use my one body as a reference, I like to paint portraits that are disrupting, where the character is unsettling, mysterious and revealing at the same time.
