  • Biography
Bruno Kurz creates lucid color spaces, which are characterised by fine differentiation and strong luminosity.  The special quality results from an intensive working process with metal as the base onto which he adds glazes with acrylic, pigments and resin. His theme is the transmission of light and its emotional impact, so that landscapes are tangibly present. Bruno Kurz explores the fundamentals of nature: atmosphere, change and renewal. The works have a special liveliness. They do not only appear before our eyes, but also in ourselves. Since 1987 Bruno Kurz has been present at numerous exhibitions and fairs in Canada, Germany and Switzerland. His works are part of several private and public collections.

    Biography

Bruno Kurz was born in 1957 in Langenargen, Lake of Constance. He studied at the Free Art School Stuttgart under Gerd Neisser and at the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts under Per Kirkeby and Max G. Kaminski. Kurz spent many years of studying art abroad in Egypt, Mexico Asia and India. He currently lives and works in Karlsruhe, Germany.  He shows his work in single and group exhibitions in galleries in Germany, Canada and Switzerland and has solo presentations at international art fairs such as Art Toronto, Art Zurich, Art Karlsruhe and Art Cologne.
