About Tetiana Vysochynska

  • Biography
I was fond of painting since childhood, so I attended art school in my hometown of Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. The first serious works were created in 1994-1996, then I had a long break and in 2016 I decided to return to what brought me pleasure - painting. It was very exciting to pick up brushes and paints again, prepare the canvas and start creating a painting. With the help of my husband, I equipped a studio at home on the second floor and devoted every free minute to mastering new techniques, since the distant 90s a lot of interesting things have appeared in the world of artists. I tried different techniques such as pastel and watercolor but my favorite is still oil.
In 2017, I registered with several online services where I could sell my paintings. And what a joy it was to make the first sales far beyond the borders of your country, and then receive grateful reviews in private messages. This encouraged me to continue painting full-time.
Where do I look for inspiration, you ask? My favorite genre is landscapes and nature. Therefore, at every opportunity I try to go for a walk in the forests and fields, to contemplate the expanses of water. During these walks, I notice what a wonderful artist our planet is and try to remember all the shades of colors of blades of grass, clouds, flowers, earth, so that later I can repeat them on canvas.
It is very important for me that my works bring joy to those who acquire them. Therefore, I try to make every effort to get the result that initially ripened in my head. And every feedback from a satisfied customer fills me with new energy to create.
