About Aleksandra Galas
Biography
I
was born in Poland where I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in
Wroclaw. After graduating I worked as a photographer, decorator and
painter. My paintings were exhibited and sold on my own internet
store. Currently, I’m getting back to painting after a five-year
break (I have two small and wonderful children). I believe that
Artfinder, as the art trade online portal, provides me with an
opportunity to build my own space shared with many interesting
artists.
The main source of my inspiration is a woman and the world of plants. Media that I use are: gouaches, acrylics, watercolors, crayons, oil paints, inks. Basis for painting are: paper, boards, canvas. I work quickly and briefly on several paintings at the same time. After a break, I come back to them to complete the work. Some paintings require more time to finish than other. The priority for me is the freshness in the image.
