This painting was created by contemporary Ukrainian artist Victor Onishchenko in Chernihiv at the end of spring 2024. The work, titled “Zelena Street”, is an oil on canvas, measuring 80 x 60 cm, stretched on a wooden stretcher.

The composition depicts a quiet residential street lined with small traditional houses, their colorful facades contrasting with the muted tones of the asphalt road and the cloudy sky above. Bright greenery and blooming shrubs enliven the scene, with a striking yellow bush catching the eye in the left foreground. A car is parked along the street, while in the background, tall apartment blocks rise behind the neighborhood, accompanied by a construction crane — a symbol of the city’s ongoing transformation.
