This original linden wood sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the skillful professional Bulgarian sculptor Tsvetan Nikolov, deeply inspired by modernism, contemporary minimalism and lyrical abstraction. It seeks to channel the unconscious as means to unlock the power of imagination. The spectacular Yuanyang rice-paddy terraced fields in southeastern China, whose history dates back to 1300 years ago, are all carved following the mountains' original contour lines, forming an amazing landscape. Their beautiful three-dimensional effect has inspired the artist to create this unique wooden sculpture. All hand carved, it is one extraordinary sculptural masterpiece and exquisite home décor.
