"You Are Part of Something Greater"
My new painting is filled with a quiet dialogue that unfolds without words. A girl is alone on her birthday, yet not lonely; she lights a candle not only for herself but also in memory of her lineage. Her guardian ancestors appear in the forms of a horse (embodying the strength, freedom, and spiritual path of her forebears) and an eagle-owl (a symbol of hidden knowledge and intuition), reminding her that they are near, they see her light, and they protect her path.
My painting is a hymn to invisible bonds, ancestral memory, and the feeling of security that comes from the realization that you are part of something greater.
