Original artwork description
This painting was inspired by my recent trip to Yosemite National Park. This view of Yosemite Valley highlights the warmth and the beautiful colors of fall season, the strength of granite, the power of glaciers, and the tranquility of the High Sierra.
Materials used to create this artwork:
Oil on stretched Centurion Oil-primed DLX Linen.
If you take a closer look at details, you will notice a lot of texture, thick juicy layers of oil colors applied with a palette knife to emphasize the structure of the mountains and the sunlit trees.
Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. The painting is unframed, it is wired in the back on the stretcher bars and ready to hang.
