Abstracting Japanese landscape during the artist residency. Journey between Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara. The technique of using textiles in the very bottom layers comes from the research during an artist residency in Tokyo, Japan over Japanese textile art such as the art of Boro and silk painting.
