I always look forward to iris season. It's about here. And I love yellow iris...not the pale iris, but the darker yellow iris. This print/painting depicts the yellow iris in my garden...not yet, but soon!

I drew the image on linoleum, carved the negative, printed the raised image on white paper, and painted the image with watercolor and gouache.

Materials used:

linoleum, carving tools, printing ink and paper, printing press, watercolor and gouache

  • Linocut on Paper
