“Yellow Blossoms” was born during a quiet moment of 2020’s isolation. I remember longing for color, life, and movement — something to contrast the stillness outside. These bright yellow flowers became my answer, blooming boldly on a background that shifts from calm sky blue to deep violet hues, as if carrying their own light.

I used a palette knife to sculpt thick, vibrant petals and textured branches — emphasizing the energy of life pushing through silence. For me, it’s a symbol of resilience, of hope quietly blossoming even in solitude.

This piece pairs naturally with my other painting from the same time, “In Isolation,” but stands confidently on its own as a vivid statement of joy, growth, and emotional renewal.
