Original artwork description
In a desolate land near the sea, a child has stopped to observe the road he has traveled with his cart, before arriving at the old broken mill to repair it. He carries spare parts with him and is accompanied by his spirit guides him. His boss waits for him patiently smoking a cigarette and next to him a crowned crane has stopped.
The work is part of the "work" cycle in progress and is made with raw pigments mixed with linseed oil on linen canvas. The "work" cycle will consist of 24 works and follows the "sleep" cycle. Both cycles are part of a collection of 24 hours in the life of a human being; work, sleep, laze.
