The composition for this painting wasn't the easiest of tasks,as I wanted to create depth to the painting, with foreground detail and a hazy distance.
So I chose to paint this most beautiful creature in a natural leafy setting, which is a little different than the usual painting one sees of Tigers.
Please note,I choose to paint on heavyweight water colour paper,as it suits my style of painting. Also, once my paintings are framed behind glass they are protected from atmospheric grime for life, unlike oil paintings that can accumulate grime which dulls the colours over a period of time.
