This painting is inspired by Calypso (one of my baby cats). The other day, she was playing as if she were flying, well... she was lying on the floor with her arms stretched out in front of her, as if she were flying. When I asked, ‘Are you flying?’, she stretched even further. She understood and truly embodied the idea of flying, which made me think of a cat with superpowers. As you know, my cats are always telling me what to paint or let’s say it differently, they are my biggest inspiration.
This painting is really fun. I love the colors, the balloons, and the cuteness. She is a wonder cat (poes), and we can feel safe because she is there to cuddle and give us puuuurfect love.
